Howto: Install Windows 10 on Kimsufi

谁有闲置 Kimsufi 可以试试。。

With the release of Windows 10 on the 29th of july I decided to create a Windows 10 Template for Kimsufi Servers. Install instructions are the same as my other Windows templates. I have, however, included the tutorial down below.

If this template does not work with your Kimsufi Server, please send me an email ([email protected]) with the network card information of the server you’re trying to install it on.

If you’re wondering how to install these on your server, just follow the instructions below.

First of all disable monitoring, once disabled, boot into rescue mode (netboot) from the Kimsufi control panel. Wait a few minutes and an email will show up in your inbox with the details (username and password) of the rescue system.
Login at the rescue system using PuTTy (or your favorite SSH client) and follow the following steps.



Windows 10 Pro:

wget -O- 'http://mirror.joodle.nl/Windows10Pro.gz' | gunzip | dd of=/dev/sda


You will need the following username and password to login using RDP (Remote Desktop).

Username: Admin
Password: Password147
